The Vollstedt Internship for Library Administrative Services will provide the opportunity for the intern to look ‘inside’ the administrative unit of a large academic library to better understand how the variety of areas involved with administration interacts with the traditional parts of the library. The intern will gain experience in the areas of assessment, communication, and human resources.
The internship period will be from January 4 – June 30, 2021 with the intern working no more than 300 hours (15-20 hours per week for approximately 20 weeks during the 6 months). The internship will be conducted remotely with an hourly rate of pay of $15.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE INTERNSHIP
• Graduate students earning a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (or its equivalent) through an accredited program.
• Preference will be given to students focusing on law librarianship but may be awarded outside that area of librarianship.
• Students currently employed by UO Libraries may apply for the internship.

Decision notification will be made by December 18 and acceptance due by December 28.
