The Ruth Lilly Medical Library is seeking an energetic, innovative, and dynamic individual to coordinate the day to day operations and provide logistical support to the Nexus I, a collaborative learning space that also houses a 3D print lab, and the Nexus II, a technology-enabled special projects and library seminar room. In addition to 3D printing, health and medical applications of virtual and augmented reality are being explored. The Nexus I is equipped with videoconferencing and recording equipment to be used with the sixteen foot, touch enabled IQ Wall. We seek someone who is interested in the intersection of libraries, learning, and piloting digital technologies with the goal of exposing medical students on all nine medical school campuses to innovative technologies that they will be encountering in future practice. The position will help facilitate student, faculty, and staff use of the Nexus I, and may consult on research projects involving library technology resources and/or referral to appropriate school, campus, and external resources.
The Manager is a member of the Library Technology Team and reports to the Assistant Director for Library Technology.
