Law Librarianship is a useful class for students planning to work in academic or public libraries. Patrons often go their public libraries first with legal questions, and Law Librarianship will teach you about free legal resources and specialized tools often purchased by libraries. Students will also learn about how law libraries operate and how you can work in them and with them to find relevant and authoritative legal information. Everyone has legal questions at some point, and virtually every news story has a legal angle. This class will equip you to better research and understand the legal aspects of your lives.
