Seeking Nominations for Campus Strategic Plan Working Groups

The Campus Directions Committee seeks nominations, including self-nominations, for membership in five strategic planning working groups that will be charged with developing strategic statements and goals for the IU South Bend Campus Strategic Plan. In particular, the committee is seeking faculty and staff members who have expertise and/or interest in the following areas:

  1. Increase Enrollment, Retention, and Completion
  2. Demonstrate Fiscal Responsibility, Stewardship, and Vibrancy
  3. Strengthen and Continue to Build High-Quality Educational Opportunities
  4. Promote Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity
  5. Enhance Community, Regional, and National Partnerships

Because the CDC is working with a tight deadline, please send nominations (along with the area of interest) to Committee Co-Chair Susan Moore (sulmoore@iusb.edu) by Tuesday, November 3, 5 p.m., at the latest.

 

ADP@IUSB Videos: What to do with your ABSENTEE ballot today!

IMPORTANT: Absentee ballots must be RECEIVED by NOON on Election Day to be counted by election officials. A postmark does not count! If you requested an absentee ballot, but have not yet mailed it, you should plan to HAND-DELIVER IT to the county clerk or surrender it at the polls on Election Day.

Indiana University economists will be presenting an online seminar on Friday, November 13, 2020, for their annual look at the world, national and regional economies. The panel will discuss how the changing economic environment will affect business and public policy decisions.

Program begins at 8:00 a.m.

Know your rights on Election Day

  • If the polls close while you’re still in line, stay in line. You have the right to vote.
  • If you make a mistake on your ballot, ask for a new one.
  • If the machines are down at your polling place, ask for a paper ballot.
  • Call the ACLU’s Election Protection hotline if you have questions about your rights or trouble voting: 1-866-OUR-VOTE. (Also report such problems to iusbadp@iusb.edu for post-election follow-up).

Don’t forget your state or federal government issued VOTER ID when heading to the polls!
