2021 Spring semester on or after January 26, 2021. This is based on you have no pending items on your TO DO LIST from financial aid. Aid will be disbursed to your bursar account at the earliest possible date of January 26th. The Bursar’s Office will begin ordering financial aid refunds on or after January 27st. For fastest delivery of your refunds is with direct deposit. Funds typically post to your personal bank account 2-3 business days AFTER your refund is ordered.
Are you on track to renew your state grant?
21st Century Scholars – Must complete 30 credit hours per academic year.
O’Bannon Recipients – Ontime award must complete 30 credits hours per academic year.
Regular award must complete 24 credit hours per academic year.
Students who receive State Grant funds in fall 2020 and spring 2021 will have used their annual allotment. Typically there are no summer state awards, though exceptions do apply. View your ScholarTrack account at IN.gov for more details about your awards or contact our office.
IUSB’s OSA is open for the 2021-2022 school year. Applications are due March 1, 2021. This application allows you to be considered for over 200 scholarships from the IU Foundation, Alumni Association and IUSB academic departments. Access the OSA via the scholarship tile on your One.IU portal. After you submit the OSA application, log back in to review any additional scholarship opportunities you can “apply” to by providing supplemental documentation.

Grant Opportunity
The Women of IU South Bend is a dedicated group of women invested in the future of our campus, its students, and the community. Their primary goal is to support initiatives and programs that will further the growth of the university and the region.

UCET is running the Course Design Institute-Essentials in the spring semester to guide you through the basics of designing a high quality online course. Academic Affairs is providing a stipend of $800 for eligible full-time faculty and $500 for eligible associate faculty who complete the Institute by March 12th and attend at least one designated UCET workshop. For full details on requirements, eligibility, and deadlines, see the flyer.

Students, are you wondering how you will be able to return your Fall rental books when you are done with them??
The Bookstore will be open during this time! You may bring them in the store and check them in. For the week of finals, we are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Sat (Dec 19) 10am-2pm.
If you are unable to turn them into us in person, you can visit https://iusb.bncollege.com/shop/iu-southbend/page/rental-book-return to print off a UPS label and ship it back to us. The cost is $5 and can be paid using a Credit Card or Paypal. All you will need to do is package them up, put on the label and drop them off at your local UPS store!

About the 500 Festival Princess Program:
Since 1958, the 500 Festival has annually celebrated 33 of Indiana’s up and coming college leaders to serve as ambassadors for the Month of May and the Indianapolis 500. The 500 Festival Princesses are civic minded, academically driven young women who are looking for personal and professional development and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the Month of May. In the months leading up to May, 500 Festival Princesses will organize statewide outreach programs, including virtual visits to hospitals, schools and various youth programs promoting the 500 Festival’s mission of celebrating the legacy of the Indianapolis 500 and making a positive impact across the state.
