• You must request access by either calling (574) 520-5555 or emailing helpdesk@iusb.edu from your IU email confirming your name, user name and contact telephone number.
• You must have a valid CrimsonCard in your possession as this is how you will enter the building and lab.
• Access Requests may take up to 24 business hours.
• Access is only for students – this means no children; spouse or friends may accompany you.
• No group work.
• Access is only for school related work – no game playing, social media, etc.
• Maximum of 10 people in each lab.
• Do not come in if you are ill.

If you completed a significant research project during 2020, you may be eligible to apply for the Library Prize for Undergraduate Research.

The Library Prize for Undergraduate Research, sponsored by the IU South Bend Libraries, rewards and celebrates excellence in undergraduate research projects. The annual Library Prize is designed to honor students who demonstrate sophisticated research skill by incorporating information found through the library’s resources into original scholarship. While consideration is given to the product of the research, the prize focuses on the research process and application of information literacy: the demonstration of library research skills, adept use of library resources, and the reflection upon the strategies utilized to investigate a research problem.

A monetary prize of $500 will be awarded.

Deadline is February 12, 2021.

The submission deadline to Analecta has been extended until February 15! Here are the guidelines. Email your short fiction, creative nonfiction, visual art, comics, and drama to iusbanalecta@gmail.com. You can submit in multiple categories. We want it all!

Please use “Analecta Submission + Genre” in the subject line. It really helps if you tell us the genre, especially if it’s not clear if it’s fiction or nonfiction.

Poetry: up to 3 poems
Short Fiction: stories and novel excerpts
Creative Nonfiction: personal essays, memoir, travel narratives
Visual Art: photography, paintings, drawings, collages, etc
Comics: Visual stories and graphic narratives of all sorts
Drama: plays and screenplays

*Longer works may be excerpted

All submissions are automatically considered for publication in Analecta as well as for recognition in the English Department’s Annual Student Writing Awards.

Titans Feeding Titans Food Pantry is open for the Spring semester .

Our hours for the Spring semester are as follows :
Tuesday- 2:30 -4:45 pm
Thursday 11:30 -3:00 pm
Friday 10:00 to 2:00 pm

At this time we are asking that you bring a list with you to have the volunteer pull your goods for you. Or you can submit a list to our Facebook page through a message ahead of time. You will be given the opportunity to add other items on that we may have in stock, such as coffee, snacks, etc. when you come in.
We are located in the Fine Arts building, you will need to bring a current Crimson ID with you to shop.
