In this week’s “What Will You Keep this Fall?” video, I am talking with Dr. Elisheva Cohen from the Department of International Studies and Center for the Study of Global Change. Elly shares her approaches to providing flexibility on assignment deadlines and how that both provides students with self-determination and improves the final products she grades. Interestingly, her approaches are informed be her own research on equitable teaching and supporting students’ education during crises, so there is solid research behind the approaches she is implementing.
