OVPUE Records Office Data System Release 0.1

OVPUE IT and OVPUE Records have been collaborating on a long-term project to replace the aging records database with a new system better integrated with IU’s Data Warehouse and accessible to both students and advisors for submitting forms and information.

The new system will eventually house much of the data storage and processing functionality in use in OVPUE Records, but the first release includes a small set of functions impacted by the retirement of IU’s Webserve hosting environment.

Returning Students Application

The new Returning Student form works much like the previous form, but has minor accessibility updates and is built in the Digital Campus Rivet design system.

Negative Service Indicator Removal Request Form

The updated Negative Service Indicator Removal Request Form features several updates, including awareness of which service indicators are currently active on a student’s record (the previous form lacked any integration with SIS data about which service indicators were active).

Late Drop Petition (UD & SIT)

The updated late drop petition for UD and SIT includes a new and more accessible design and, unlike past versions, shows students their courses instead of asking the student to explain which course they wish to drop.
