The Web and Applications team worked with OVPUE Engaged Learning’s Student Engagement Director, Angela Gast, to create a new website to showcase results of IU Bloomington undergraduate students’ work throughout the year and list how to take advantage of Engaged Learning opportunities at IU. The new website, engagedlearningmonth.indiana.edu was released on Tuesday, March 30.
Tutoring for IUB undergraduates has been difficult to navigate in the past. A recent drop in tutoring usage statistics led the Student Academic Center to seek out a better way to guide students to tutoring, academic coaching, and support courses that can help improve their grades and help them comprehend material across all courses.
hisThe integration of Microsoft Teams to streamline OVPUE’s communication, organization, and file sharing is well underway. In October, Director of Information Technology Anesu Chaora introduced Teams on the blog including instructions for finding your files after the Box Entrusted migration and this two-minute video outlining Teams’ capabilities.
OVPUE IT’s IU Web Framework Images tool has been updated to help staff crop and compress more types of images for use not only on their departmental websites, but also on social media and wherever else you need a photo.
The Web and Applications team worked with the Hutton Honors Council Association to migrate their old site to a new server and redesigned the site to bring it into the IU Framework. The new website, hhca.indiana.edu was released on Tuesday, March 10.
For several months, OVPUE IT has been working with IU Corps to complete an application for collecting service hour data from students.
