WCMS Training Video Series

Since OVPUE IT began building websites in the WCMS, we have required a 2 hour in-person training for staff before they are granted access to their websites in the WCMS. The 2 hour training contained a lot of information and was difficult for staff to absorb, and the nature of WCMS work means that only small pieces of information are needed and sometimes 6 months pass between training and the person’s first time logging into the system.

To attempt to address these issues and save some time for IT staff and OVPUE staff, we have created a series of training videos that will replace the 2 hour in-person training going forward. The videos cover more content than the old in-person training, but can be watched at whatever pace the viewer wants, and revisited whenever a refresh is needed.
