Welcome Summer 2012 Interns!

Five IU South Bend students are engaged in internships through the Center for a Sustainable Future during Summer, 2012. In addition to earning academic credit, these students will be learning how to “walk the talk” of sustainability. In addition to logging nearly 100 hours with area non-profits, the students are meeting throughout the summer to discuss relevant readings and to share successes and challenges.

An exciting aspect of their internships is the chance to share what they are doing while learning the valuable skills of public communication. Regular blog posts will soon appear tracking their experiences, how they relate to sustainability principles, and what they are doing and learning.
