December is full of opportunities for IU students to get involved, give back, and connect with the Bloomington community! Whether you’re looking to volunteer for a one-time event, support a local organization, or explore ongoing service opportunities, this month offers a few ways to make a meaningful impact.

IU Corps works with a wide range of community partners who help identify local needs and share volunteer opportunities for students to engage in mutually beneficial service. These experiences not only strengthen the community but also help students build valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and relationship building—skills that contribute to both personal growth and career readiness.

• Bridges Musical Arts Youth Organization hosts “Home for the Holidays” with Jon McLaughlin & Friends at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater

December 13–14

• Wreaths Across America of Bloomington, Gosport, and Monroe County: Wreath Laying Ceremonies

December 13: Rose Hill at 10 a.m.
December 14: Gosport Cemetery at 1 p.m.
