Congratulations to Miranda Gluth, one of the 2020 Mueller Award recipients. Miranda is earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science and a minor in Business. Miranda’s passion and advocacy for the sorority experience for college women can be seen throughout her various leadership roles. In her role as President for the Panhellenic Association, she created a new leadership position within the Panhellenic Council, the Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion and was able to lobby in Washington DC on behalf of her organization. She has also been a part of the State Delegate for the Indiana Democratic Party and a Schaffer intern for Student Life as well as a marketing assistant for Recreational Sports.
Throughout her time at IU, she’s most proud of her Panhellenic Presidency and how that experience has made her into a better woman. Miranda found her community in the Sorority and Fraternity Life Office, she offered this thank you, “A big thank you to everyone at the Sorority & Fraternity Life Office and Student Affairs. Thank you to Alexis Karwoski, Kyle Newnum, Judy Downey, Leslie Fasone and Dean Dave O’Guinn. Also thank you to my parents Marcus and Michelle Gluth.”
