Today was my day off in Paros. So first off I slept in, very much needed. When I finally rolled out of bed, we decided to have a girl’s day even though it was raining. The first place we came upon was the Mikro Cafe. There I had bacon and eggs, and it was a very effective way to start the day.
Next, we decided to walk down to the bank and pull out more money because we were all running low. The best part of the day is next, the feet fish! The lady was super nice and let us stay in the tank for 20 mins for only 10 euros. When I first put my feet in the water it was super ticklish, and I didn’t know if I could do it anymore, but then it became a numbing vibration and turned into relaxation.
The next part of our day was souvenir shopping for our family’s back home. I finally found my mom a little statue that she can put out in the open. I also got two magnets for mom and sister. Then I got my brother a shot glass and my aunt a postcard. I still have so much to buy for, but I will get all my shopping done!
The last part of the day was us winding down and wanting to relax at Villa Katerina. As we were walking back, we came upon a Gelato shop (Ice Cream)!! The woman there is super nice and let us try almost every flavor, but for some reason, I was drawn to Pistachio. I didn’t even know Pistachio could be an ice-cream. But knowing me, I also got a scope of chocolate chip!
Today was a successful day for me because I got to have an ease of mind while shopping and spend it with my new friends!
