One day we were strangers, classmates, now we can call each other friends! As we have spent a lot of time together we have had meetings, tried new foods, sweated together, gotten lost, lived in the same villa, and now we are coming together as groups to create great projects. From here on out we have developed a trust that extends beyond networking.
Walking through the city of Paros together signifies trust. We have built a connection with each other from the beginning of the trip. Starting from baggage claim in Athens, to a four-hour ferry, to collaborating as a group. If we remember anything, it will be the friendships we have made on the island.
Making memories has been what this trip has been about. We ate lunch at the bakery for the second time today. Visiting the bakery with my new study abroad family felt natural. Coming and going as a group, it really felt like a bond. Simple things have connected us together: travel, education, and good food. We are linked together from now on with the reflection of the amazing Island of Paros.
