Welcome to the Muslim Voices blog! We’re very excited to re-launch this space as a part of our newly designed website.
Founded in 2008, the Muslim Voices Project has a mission to counter Islamophobia by providing a platform for amplifying diverse local, regional, and global Muslim voices and critically dismantling Islamophobic discourse and representation.
You’ll find opinions and analysis from activists, researchers, artists, educators, religious leaders, and community organizers here. Though we are based in Indiana, we feature the voices of Muslims and non-Muslims from across the Midwest, the United States, and the world.
Our current programming centers on a few main projects: Muslim Women in Global Perspective, a collaborative project with IU Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council, and Connecting Local to Global: Muslim Storytelling in the Midwest.
We’re always looking for more collaborators and we appreciate hearing your thoughts on our programming. If you’d like to get involved, or send us some feedback, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Stay tuned for more updates soon!
