Undergraduate Degree: Indiana University – BS in Healthcare Management and Policy 

Q: What brought you to the program?

A: I am always looking for ways to push myself and gain experience, so during my sophomore year of college, I reached out to April Grudi (program director) and asked to chat about the program (which was only a year or two old at the time). I was inspired by her passion for the program and was extremely impressed with the curriculum. I knew after that meeting the MSHM program was something I wanted to pursue, and I am so glad I did! I have learned so much in so little time, and it is motivating to be working with such amazing people!

Q: What’s been most impactful thus far?

A: The people! I did not expect the amount of support and encouragement I would receive from a Masters’s program, then again, this one just might be special!

Q: What are you most excited about?

A: I am most excited about the opportunities this program will lead me to. I have already learned so much through my practicum experience as well as the actual coursework, and I am excited to use my knowledge post-graduation!

Q: What are your personal interests and what are you wanting to achieve post-graduation?

A: I really love spending time with family and friends, baking fall treats, and am a self-proclaimed movie critic. Post-graduation, I am excited to be starting a consulting position in Chicago! I have only ever lived in Indiana; however, this program has given me the confidence to know I can succeed!
