Q: What is your current position (title, job function)?

A: I am a Program Manager for the Enterprise Analytics division and I oversee all projects in the Community Health and Population Health areas.

Q: What projects are you working on / have you worked on with students? 

A: We are currently working on a project to create a dashboard for the Spine and Pain Management area so they can better measure and streamline their treatments, outcomes, and patient experience.

Q: What do you like about precepting?

A: I love the idea of giving a student real-world exposure and explaining what we do and why it’s being done a certain way.

Q: Why do you serve as a preceptor/mentor for MSHM students?

A: It’s a great opportunity to provide a window into healthcare project management and all the different possibilities that are available to explore.
