Q: Where were you prior to MSHM? Where are you at now?

Prior to receiving my MSHM degree in 2022, I attended Miami University where I graduated in 2021 with a B.S. in Public Health. Today, I am a Growth Advisory Consultant at Grant Thornton with a focus in the healthcare industry.

Q: What are your biggest takeaways from the program?

One of my biggest takeaways from the MSHM program is the importance of establishing meaningful relationships, which is one of the greatest assets you can bring to both consulting and healthcare. The program and its curriculum did a great job preparing me for my current role, as you get to learn about the healthcare industry through several different lenses. This is an invaluable experience for a career in consulting.

Q: What is some advice you have for the next generation of MSHM students?

One piece of advice I would give to the next generation of MSHM students is to say yes to everything. Never close the door on yourself!
