Nazir Ikhlayel is a Doctor of Judicial Science (S.J.D.) candidate at Maurer School of Law. His dissertation research concerns arbitration in construction disputes, particularly in Qatar and Egypt. Prior to joining Maurer, he practiced as a licensed attorney in West Bank, Palestine, specializing in corporate law and arbitration. Nazir has also been actively involved in several NGOs dedicated to human rights and women’s rights. He holds an LL.B. degree from Aleppo University and an LL.M. degree in Business and Commercial Law from the Maurer School of Law.
