Wenxi Lu is a J.D. candidate at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Her passion is advocating for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights worldwide. She serves as a student leader for the LGBTQ+ Project at Maurer, a pro bono project that helps the LGBTQ+ community in Indiana. Wenxi also serves as the chair of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s Law Student Congress. In law school, Wenxi is dedicated to serving as a bridge between international and domestic students.
Wenxi loves writing, and her fondness for legal writing motivates her to externing for multiple judges from different courts. She served as a summer intern for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and as an extern for the Indiana Supreme Court. Her student note, Data Localization: From China and Beyond, has been selected for publication in the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, Volume 31.
