SJD candidate Hwi Won Kim presenting her work at the Graduate Colloquium

This Thursday (April 27, 12pm EST), our SJD candidate Hwi Won Kim will be presenting her research “The Interpretative Foundation of Liberty and Privacy under the Fourteenth Amendment.”

In this session, she will explore the challenges of interpreting the Fourteenth Amendment and recognizing new rights, such as privacy, due to the inconsistencies in the substantive due process doctrine. She will provide an alternative foundation for rights and examine the potential benefits and drawbacks of adopting it.
