Biography:
Yage Huang holds Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) from the Indiana University – Maurer School of Law . She was also a visiting scholar at the Indiana Maurer School of Law. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at China University of Political Science and Law, where she obtained her master’s degree in law in 2017. In 2014, Yage earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Qilu University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Shandong University.
Yage’s research focuses on the intersection of criminal procedural law, evidence, and human rights, with a particular emphasis on the authentication of social media evidence in criminal procedure law. Her dissertation aims to develop new and effective methods for verifying the authenticity of social media evidence, which is increasingly important in criminal investigations and trials. By improving the reliability of social media evidence authentication, Yage’s research will contribute to the development of more accurate and just criminal justice systems.
