Marching Hundred Fall 2022, preliminary schedule

Friday August 19: Spirit and Traditions Pep Rally, Time TBA (usually in evening)
Saturday August 20: End of Band Camp performance in Stadium
Friday September 2, 8pm – IU vs. Illinois
Saturday September 10, 8pm – IU vs. Idaho, Band Day
Saturday September 17, 12 noon – IU vs. Western Kentucky
Saturday October 8, 12 noon – IU vs. Michigan, Homecoming
Saturday October 15 – IU vs. Maryland
Saturday November 5 – IU vs. Penn State
Tuesday November 15 – Fall Showcase Concert, Musical Arts Center, 8:00 PM
Saturday November 26 – IU vs. Purdue
Will the band be going to any away football games
The band will not be going to any away games this season except maybe the Purdue game. That hasn’t been decided yet.
Please go to Purdue! My son is looking at both colleges (music major) and it would be nice to evaluate both bands on the same day. 🙂
Sandi, we ARE going to Purdue on Nov. 27, but not with the full Marching Hundred. Because it is during Thanksgiving Recess, only students who are Indiana residents are required to be there. So to get the full experience you may want to come to one of our home games. Check the blog post for the game day schedule.
Will everyone who is in the marching hundred band now, 8/28/21, get to march at the football games? Or do some have to sit the bench so to speak?
Hi Ann, Sorry for the delayed reply. Every student in the band will march in 3 or more, of the 5 home football games.
Does the Marching Hundred stream their halftime performance at games?
No, but there is a nice compilation of the game on our Facebook page. Check it out!
Where does the band enter the stadium? When does the band arrive for the pre-game show? We have an international guest who has never seen American football. Thanks.
