Sarah J. Slover joined the musicology and music theory departments in March of 2018. She holds a Master of Music in performance from the Jacobs School and has worked full-time at the school in various roles since 2011, including opera and ballet production, marketing and communications, and now musicology and music theory.

In May 2020, Sarah completed a Master of Arts in arts administration at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, where she studied the various facets of non-profit administration — from programming and audience development to financial management and legal issues — through the lens of the arts. While she doesn’t perform much anymore, she remains dedicated to music and the arts, arts education, and to exploring the distinct values that creative expression and thoughtful design bring to our lives and communities.

Sarah is also a photographer who loves to capture authentic and beautiful images of artists, dancers, and musicians.
