Summary
With food, music, and activities for all ages, Huntingburg’s 4th Friday festivals provide a way for the residents of Huntingburg, Indiana to connect and celebrate their community monthly in the newly built Market Street Park. The Crossroads Quintet, a jazz group from the Jacobs School of Music, performed and bonded with community members at several of these festivals throughout the summer. The Crossroads Quintet is named after the official motto of the state of Indiana, “Crossroads of America”, and they were eager to participate in the transformation of Market Street Park by sharing the art of jazz and bringing live music into the space.
