Tatiana Lokhina
Recent DM graduate Tatiana Lokhina (the first ever DM in Collaborative Piano at the Jacobs School!) is shown here after a studio recital at the Oberlin College Conservatory in Ohio where she has been on staff since Fall 2021. These are students of well known soprano Prof. Katherine Jolly who joined the Oberlin faculty in Fall 2019. She and Tania are shown kneeling in front of the students who performed in the studio recital.
Tania’s activities at Oberlin include playing for all opera productions (staging, rehearsals, and coachings) as well as accompanying lessons, recitals, masterclasses, competitions, and recordings for the vocal department.
Lucas Nogara
Another recent graduate (MM / PD) Lucas Nogara joined his professor Kevin Murphy at The International Summer Opera Program in Tel Aviv, Israel for 3 weeks. Lucas is pictured here in a live performance of Bizet’s Carmen, concert version. At the end of that festival, he traveled immediately to Chicago to serve as staff at Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute Program for Singers.
The most exciting news is that Lucas has been invited to join the staff at Los Angeles Opera in California starting in the 2022-23 season.

This is James’s second year on staff with Cincinnati Opera. He also is also full time faculty since Fall 2021 at The University of Texas at Austin, Butler School of Music as a Lecturer in Collaborative Piano.
Brock Tjosvold

Photos are a recent performance as collaborative partner (above) and a rehearsal of The Medium by Menotti (below) in his role as music director. He is also teaching song repertoire and accompanying courses. He will be starting his second year at the Crane School in Fall 2022.
