The Department is seeking a student assistant responsible for setting up and taking down labs for PHYS-P 222 this spring. The SLA position won’t involve many hours, but it can provide some fun and useful experience along with a nice line for your resume.
There will be three lab sections in the spring, and they will meet at the following times, all on Tuesdays:
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
- 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
- 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
In normal years there are also labs for PHYS-P 221 in spring semesters, which require different setups, so those impose a key constraint on when labs must be set up and taken down. But, P221 will be online again this spring, so that allows quite a bit more flexibility regarding the set-up and take-down timing for the P222 labs.
Candidates should have already completed both PHYS-P 221 and 222, and the the SLA position can become an ongoing job for those relatively early in their undergraduate career.
Professors Lynker and Hinnefeld will be the instructors, so you’d be working with the two of them.
