Have you considered studying abroad? This is a great year for physics students to study abroad with IU South Bend because the Dept. of Physics & Astronomy is offering a $500 scholarship specifically for one of our students to participate in the study-abroad program. This departmental scholarship is in addition to campus study-abroad scholarships, with most students receiving $500 and a smaller number receiving $800 or even $1200.
To be considered, simply submit your study abroad scholarship application at this link by December 3, and your scholarship application will be forwarded to the us (i.e., the Dept. of Physics & Astronomy).
Apply by December 1 for Costa Rica – Sustainability over spring break and by February 1 for Oaxaca, Mexico in Summer 1.
All IU South Bend study abroad programs satisfy general-education requirements. Students can use any financial aid for which they are eligible toward the costs of their travel.
