Alum Kayleigh Cassella (Physics B.S., 2011) visited the department today and gave presentation entitled Towards a Quantum Degenerate Gas of Titanium. After leaving IUSB, she went to UC Berkeley on an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, and she has continued her research there subsequent to completing her Ph.D. It was great to have her back on campus!
