IT Professionals:
We’re pleased to announce the 15th annual in-person IT Leadership Boot Camp to be held at the Sycamore of Mallow Run (Bargersville, IN). This program sponsored by UITS is aimed at cultivating the next generation of IT leaders at IU. Thirty-six people will have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions to learn about Strengths Based Leadership, interact with colleagues, and practice leadership competencies. (Managers, see below for a special note to you.)
Potential participants,
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please submit your name, references, and answer a few questions about why you would like to attend in the application linked below before 5pm ET on Mar 20. Please note since we receive more applications than the number of seats available for Boot Camp, this self-attestation contributes greatly to the selection process. Your attendance in all sessions is critical.
In the application, you are asked to confirm your availability and, if selected, to clear any other commitments for those days. Also, we recommend you consult your manager, so they are aware of your interest; your manager’s information is required on the form. You can also submit up to two references to comment on your leadership potential. Final selections will be made in April. You will be notified of your selection status after final decisions are made.
2024 Boot Camp dates:
Session 1: May 22
Session 2: June 26
Session 3: July 24
Apply for the 2024 IT Leadership Boot Camp by March 20, 5pm ET:

Managers of potential participants:
You do not need to nominate staff. Please encourage your staff to apply using the link above. You will be notified if your team member is selected. There is no cost to your department for the Boot Camp Program itself, however, your unit will need to discuss travel and lodging with your applicant if they are required.
If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Zimmerman (kzimm@iu.edu) or Ian Campion (iacamp@iu.edu).
