Do you have an idea for a major or minor that doesn’t fit within the pre-established majors and minors at IU? The Individualized Major Program Discovery Event will tell you how to make your dreams a reality. Director Nick Williams and Assistant Director Paul Aarstad will describe the process for proposing a major or a minor and putting together the curriculum, and will describe the process for approval. Also attending will be a current IMP student to talk about the experience from a student’s point-of-view. There’ll be plenty of time for those attending to ask questions about their own ideas for individualized majors or minors.
College of Arts and Sciences Discovery events help you explore the wide range of academic programs available to you in the College of Arts and Sciences and the career opportunities associated with them. Join us for one or more of these events and find your future!
Discovery events are free and open to all IUB students. Refreshments will be served. For more information, see the events calendar on the Walter Center for Career Achievement website: https://careers.college.indiana.edu/events/2018/09/04/discover-your-future-individualized-major-program/.
