Event Description:
Assist Bloomington Parks and Recreation with reforestation efforts in our City parks! We are partnering with Monroe County Identify and Reduce Invasive Species (MC-IRIS) to plant native trees and shrubs throughout Southeast Park.
Meet us there on Saturday, October 16th, anytime between 9am and 12pm.
Individuals can register by clicking the button below, but this is also an excellent volunteer opportunity for groups! To register as a group, contact Sarah Owen at parksvol@bloomington.in.gov.
Duties: Volunteers are needed to help plant native trees and shrubs.
Volunteer Ages: Volunteers ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian and must bring it with them when they arrive for their shift.
Other: Masks are required.
