The Indiana University Coaching Conversations program is entering its second year! We have accomplished a great deal in the first full year of our expanded programming. The 2018-2019 academic year has been a time of growth and transition, from Gail Fairfield fearlessly piloting the coaching program as the sole trainer, to her mentoring 11 new trainers who will move the program forward. Gail and OCSS also submitted the Coaching Conversations Program design to the Center for Credentialing and Education before her official retirement in August, and it was approved by the Center to count towards the Board Certified Coach credential. Gail and Kate Goldstein collaboratively restructured some parts of the program this June, and Kate is at the helm of the Coaching Conversations program moving forward.
Accomplishments
- We have had over 400 unique participants in the program so far, spanning Gail’s first workshops to our most recent in June 2019.
- We have 11 trainers delivering workshops and will be accepting new trainer applicants this summer (our next blog post).
- We have 50 participants in our first coaching cohort – an optional program for people interested in becoming Board Certified Coaches through the Center for Credentialing and Education – and will be accepting new certification-seekers this summer (our next post).
- By June 17, 2019, we anticipate a TOTAL Coaching Conversations unique event attendance count of 1,167.
