The Senate Committee on Community Engagement invites nominations for the 2022 Community Engagement Awards:
Student or Student Group: Demonstrates leadership through their community-engaged work and makes a meaningful contribution to the community. Individual recipients will receive a $500 scholarship and a club will receive a $500 contribution.
Faculty or Staff: Demonstrates how their community-engaged teaching enhances student learning; contributes to the scholarship of engagement or Scholarship of Teaching and Learning; or makes a meaningful contribution to an organization or community through creative activities or service. Recipients will receive $500 in additional pay.
Community Partner: Demonstrates a record of working in mutually beneficial partnership with IU South Bend in ways that build the organization’s capacity to accomplish its mission, promote community well-being and contribute to the mission of the campus. Recipients will receive a celebratory plaque.
