Featured artist Kenneth Tate joins host Pam Blair as she opens a welcoming stage for brand new and experienced poets to listen, learn, and share beauty.
The Poetry Den is a monthly combination of open microphone poets followed by a featured artist. Poets of all experience levels are warmly invited to share. Those interested only in listening may easily do the same.
This month’s featured artist is Kenneth Tate. Kenneth is a writer when he is sad, a runner when he is anxious, and a friend when he is thriving. He studied Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice in his undergrad. Kenneth has since been a marketing agent, salesman, office manager, and as of current a barista. Living proof that nobody really has it figured out. He seeks to create art that is both accessible and distinct. He has decided to fail.
Come to listen, come to share, but come take time for yourself to stop, think, and breathe in the beauty of the spoken word.
This free event is offered both in-person and online via Zoom.
Because some poets may use mature language, participation by those 18 and older is encouraged.
Both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests must wear a mask over their mouth and nose for the duration of the event.
Online guests may participate via Zoom by going to https://iu.zoom.us/j/84736640413.
