The American Democracy Project encourages voters to get informed about where candidates stand on the issues before casting their ballots in the 2024 general election, Here are some non-partisan resources that can help.
guides.vote produces nonpartisan voters guides that show where candidates stand. They’re produced by veteran journalists with links to credible sources. The guides are available online and in printable versions. This is a great source for national races (President/Vice President) and swing states (e.g. Michigan).
VOTE411 provides personalized voting information, such as registration status, ballot information, polling place locations, and debates. You can also report election problems and see candidates’ answer to critical policy questions. Thanks to support from the American Democracy Project at IU South Bend, Vote411.org is an excellent source of information about candidates running in county-level races in St. Joseph County and in local nonpartisan school board races (including South Bend school board).
