Do you want to learn more about how to make the career relevance of your class visible to students? Have you heard about the National Association of Colleges and Employers (Career Competencies), but want to learn more? Come to this session for an overview of the NACE career skills and our campus-wide effort to sign-post career learning in our courses using the NACE foundation as a common language. Participants will walk out with information on how to use transparency in learning and teaching (TILT) to revise an assignment with a focus on one NACE Career Competency.

2) Next-Level NACE
November 19, 3pm – 4pm, NS 245 & Online-Zoom
Looking to enhance transparency about the career relevance of your course for your students? This session will include a quick overview of the NACE Career Competencies and their purpose. Then, we will discuss easy syllabus adjustments that can help students to recognize the career skills they are taking away from your course. Participants will walk out with ideas on how to revise syllabi for spring 2025 with the NACE Career Competencies in mind.
