On May 22 & 23, the Thought Leadership Conference, the only conference focused on intercultural relations in our region, will be held in downtown South Bend. The conference will bring together businesses, educational institutions, and nonprofits to network and collaborate on pressing topics facing organizations today.
Conference organizers are seeking 15 IU South Bend students to serve as hosts and room captains at the conference. Volunteers will have an opportunity to hear from many exciting speakers, such Valerie Jarret, former Senior Advisor to President Barak Obama, Chancellor Susan Elrod, Mayor James Mueller, and many others. Volunteering at the event will also allow individuals to network while experiencing everything the conference has to offer. For more information about the conference, please visit:

If you are interested in volunteering, please email Karma Grundy at kgrundy@inclusive-excellence.com to let her know that you are from IU South Bend and would like to serve as a conference volunteer.
