Please join us at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5, for a Zoom farewell for Angela Huff, Library Business Operations Manager, who is leaving IUSB for a new position. We will meet via Zoom at https://iu.zoom.us/j/86069864087.
Angela has worked at IUSB for 15 years, starting as the Development Administrative Assistant in Public Affairs & University Advancement before transitioning to various positions in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. For the past seven years she has worked in her current position with the IU South Bend Libraries. Angie is an indispensable colleague, whose attention to detail and willingness to mentor others led to her serving as a campus resource for the BUY.IU program, where she has assisted and mentored staff on new policies and procedures.
In addition to her work for the library, Angela has served on many campus committees, including strategic planning and campus and alumni scholarships. In 2017-2018 she received a Center for a Sustainable Future fellowship to work toward earning “Bee Campus USA” designation for our campus through The Xerces Society, which IUSB received in December 2019.
This post barely scratches the surface of what Angela has accomplished in the library and at IUSB during her time here. We will miss her very much but wish her well in her future endeavors.
