Join featured artist Zorina Frey alongside some moving open microphone spoken word at the Poetry Den.
The Poetry Den is an (online) space for new and experienced poets to share beauty with words. Whether you’re a seasoned poet, someone newly expressing themselves, or just looking to sit back and listen, The Poetry Den is your place to be.
After the open microphone poets take their beat, stay to hear this month’s featured poet, Zorina Frey.
Zorina Frey is an author, essayist, screenwriter, and spoken word poet living in Miami, Florida. Her work has been published in Of Poets & Poetry, Shondaland, Filter.org, and Writing Class Radio. Zorina freelances as a copywriter, graphic designer, and publisher. She is also an MFA candidate at Converse College and recipient of the 2021 Palm Beach Poetry Festival’s Langston Hughes’ Fellowship.
To share your words in this safe and welcoming space, send a message to sign up for the open microphone. Poets may perform in-person at the CRHC (masked at all times, including during your performance) or at home via Zoom.
The Poetry Den is free and public participation is encouraged. Because some poets may use mature language, attendance by those 18 and over is encouraged.
Please note: This month’s Den will not be recorded for YouTube nor simulcast on Facebook. We hope you’re able to watch live via Zoom.
