Hello friends and colleagues,
How would you like to help us with Commencement this year? We’d like to invite you to volunteer for this year’s ceremony. Not sure how you could contribute? We can find something for you to do.
Commencement itself will take place at the Purcell Pavilion in the Joyce Center at the University of Notre Dame on Thursday, May 13, at 7 PM (procession starts at 6:30 PM). Depending on your assignment, we’d expect you to meet us in the field house inside Gate 3 between 4 and 5 PM. We will provide dinner and all the instruction you’ll need to make this night special for our students and their guests.
If you’d like to volunteer, please email Interim Special Events Coordinator, Stephen Salisbury, at stsalisb@iu.edu, by this Monday, April 7. We’ll likely try to schedule one meeting in advance of the day to go over assignments and expectations. Realistically, however, we understand we may not be able to pull everyone together at the same time, so feel free to ask any questions you have in advance and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
