- Watch. All students and their family/friends are invited to an Election Results Watch Party on Tuesday night in the Community Building at River Crossing Student Housing (1735 Titan Drive). The party will kick off at 8PM with free pizza, pop, chips, button-making, and more. We’ll help you make sense of the results and understand what to watch for as the night wears on. Non-partisan. All ages welcome.
- Reflect. FREE LUNCH. All students (and their faculty mentors) are invited to an Election Reflection Lunch on Wed. Nov. 6 from 11:30 – 1:00 in the Alumi Room (2nd Floor Admin Building). We know that people are feeling anxious, afraid, exhausted, and worried. We know that some people may be happy with the results while others may be deeply disappointed. We know that we may still be waiting for results on “the day after” Election Day. We’ll gather as a community to share our thoughts, concerns, hopes, and dreams and to support each other and find ways to reaffirm our commitment to democratic principles and problem-solving despite – and because of — our diverse identities, ideologies, and lived experiences.
