Do you have plans for assessment or want to work on a special assessment imitative? Departments may apply for grants of up to $3000 to help in developing assessment initiatives in at least one of the following:
• To identify, formulate, and record measurable student learning goals
• To research or implement a methodology for measuring the attainment of educational goals. (Assessment techniques)
• To analyze and use assessment information to improve programs
• To add or increase the participation of all constituencies in the assessment process
• To improve record keeping and dissemination of assessment information
Proposals are due to the Senate Assessment Committee by November 18th. Use the electronic form available on the Assessment Committee website (https://academics.iusb.edu/assessment-committee/index.html) and send your completed proposal to the committee co-Chairs, Kasey Clear (kclear@iu.edu) and Caitlin Vlaeminck (cwendelb@iu.edu). The form gives information on grant guidelines and the application process.
