IU South Bend is a member of the Network for Change and Continuous Innovation and as a result faculty and staff have access to attend NCCI’s Power60s, hour-long webinars led by higher education thought leaders. Power60s are held monthly and open to all. While there are no fees for NCCI member campuses, registration is necessary.
Here are upcoming Power 60s:
Change Management in Higher Education: Escaping the “We’ve Always Done it this Way” Trap
Thursday, October 3, 1 p.m. Eastern
Higher education finds strength and symbolism in its traditions, so how do we balance that with the need for institutions to change to remain relevant and sustainable? Too often, effective change is held back by forces focused on keeping things the way they are. The key to change management success is understanding the underlying resistance factors and practical strategies for overcoming them. This Power60 is appropriate for leaders and change agents at all levels of the institution.
Post-Crisis Leadership: Implications for Pursuing Change and Innovation in Higher Education
