Join us for the regular, recurring FutureIU community meeting. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 28, at from 12-1:30 p.m. ET. It will occur every fourth Wednesday of the month, from 12-1:30 p.m. ET.
All future-focused faculty and staff across our campuses are welcome to engage in dynamic discussions on the evolving landscape of higher education and to explore actionable strategies for addressing the challenges and opportunities before us. Please feel free to forward this meeting invite to any colleagues you think might be interested in participating.
Whether you attend every meeting or drop in occasionally, whether you get involved in projects or simply come to connect and learn, your participation helps build a future-focused community across our campuses.
Each community meeting will include:
- Horizon Scanning: Delve into emerging trends and innovations shaping the future of higher education, fostering a forward-thinking dialogue among participants.
- Emerging Challenges and Opportunities: Share insights and experiences on pressing issues affecting our campuses, encouraging a collaborative exchange of ideas and solutions.
- FutureIU Projects: Hear about ongoing projects, or initiate new ones, aimed at addressing challenges collectively across our campuses.
FutureIU is a grassroots, faculty- and staff-driven effort to address the pressing challenges facing higher education. See this info sheet for more info on the initiative.
Please contact Susan Thomas, suethoma@iu.edu if you have questions.
