The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) Regional Safety Action Plan is a transportation safety plan that aims to reduce serious injuries and fatalities on roadways in the four-county MACOG region. The region includes Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties. The plan is based on the Safe Systems Approach, which focuses on making roads, vehicles, and users safer, as well as post-crash care, equity, and culture.
If you live in the MAGOC region, please REPORT unsafe roads, intersections, and conditions (e.g. low visibility, sharp curves, missing stop signs, frequent accidents) directly to MACOG using the following links.
