Enjoy an evening featuring contemporary and iconic songs and spoken word thoughtfully chosen to amplify the perspectives of BIPOC women. The songs represent a diverse tapestry of resilience, vulnerability, and womanhood and embody strength, resilience, agency, and joy. While the experiences of women of color are different, they are similar in beautiful ways. The singers are grounded in the stance that advocacy is most powerful in collaboration with and support from a community.
This free event is for anyone who wants to hear inspiring music about resilience, vulnerability, and diverse expressions of womanhood. Be inspired by young people articulating their care, resilience, vulnerability, and spirit through music.
