Are you an active researcher or someone who supports an active researcher at IU? Join us for an important webinar later this month!webinar.
Under the National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 (NSPM-33), new guidance has been issued by the Office of Science and Technology Policy for federal research agencies, with an emphasis on developing standardized policies and practices for disclosing information to assess conflicts of interest and commitment among researchers and research organizations applying for federal awards. It is important that IU researchers and departmental staff understand these new standards and requirements for disclosure under NSPM-33. These new requirements are intended to enhance transparency, strengthen protections around research and data, and discourage research misappropriation all while aimed at preserving international engagement and academic freedom. Hosted by IU’s Research Security Office (RSO), please join RSO along with representatives from the Office for Research Administration, Compliance & Policy Office, and Office for Research Compliance on February 29th @ 12:00 EST to help demystify NSPM-33 and its new standards and how it relates to NIH and NSF requirements. There will be an opportunity to ask related questions so that we may better serve you and your research! Register for this free
