The Honors Program invites everyone on campus to join the Winter Walk IU South Bend Team in support of St. Margaret’s House (SMH), a day center for women and children in our community. This year, we are walking to raise awareness and funds for SMH. Please “walk a mile in her shoes” on Sunday, February 18, from 2:30-3:30 p.m., by joining our team here: https://runsignup.com/Race/141300/Donate/D6kJAWa1K4Ai9Scf. You do not have to donate to join the team, however no donation is too small and all donations are appreciated!
In addition to the walk, SMH is seeking many volunteers to help on the day of the walk! If you have a kind heart for women and children who live in poverty, please consider helping with a variety of tasks. If you have friends and family members who would like to help, please have them sign up too. Everyone’s invited!
